According to the promoter: Castillio was more of a showman then a fighter. Castillio blew kisses at Lopez and taunted him wildly, while Lopez sneered back, eyes burning behind a dark-bearded mask of facial hair and body ink. Resentful, Lopez landed some deafening body shots but Castillio would grimace momentarily and return to ridiculing his opponent. In the end, Lopez could not harm the thick-skinned Castillio, whose showmanship and timely jab allowed him to narrowly pull even for a majority draw. Judges scored the fight 39-37, 38-38, 38-38.
