Jenkins was sloppy, and his timing appeared off, until he floored Timpson with a right hand to the head, four seconds before the end of the 8th round. Jenkins dropped Timpson for eight with a left-right in the 10th round, and then finished a wobbly Timpson with a hook. Timpson had swarmed over Jenkins in the 5th, 6th, and 7th round, and had cut both of Jenkins' brows.
