Eagle was down in the 1st round, while Pike was down in the 2nd round. Pike was cut in 2nd round, and the cut worsened over the subsequent rounds, as he began to show signs of fading. In the 5th round, Pike turned the fight around with a left to the stomach, that floored Eagle for a count of eight. Pike chased Eagle across the ring, and knocked him out with another left to the stomach.
