Rosenberg "blew a fight tonight to Doc Snell in the main event at the Olympic auditorium when he was declared loser on a foul after less than one minute of milling in the sixth round. Rosenberg drove home a low right hand to Snell's groin and as it was his third low blow of the evening there was nothing for Referee O'Shea to do but to award the fight to Snell. However, Chairman Streilinger of the state boxing commission was an interested spectator and ordered the Olympic club management to not only hold up Rosenberg's money but to send that young man and his manager up to the commission for a rather meticulous questioning."
