Abe Goldstein 117 lbs lost to Johnny Sheppard 121 lbs by PTS in round 10 of 10
- Date: 1924-05-26
- Location: Mechanics Building, Boston, Massachusetts, USA
- Referee: Johnny Brassil
- Judge: John T Glackin
- Judge: Pat Moran
The Boston Herald felt that Sheppard won by virtue of his willingness to fight throughout, while feeling that Goldstein seemed too careful. The Boston Globe felt that Goldstein should have won, feeling that he landed the cleaner blows, while Sheppard's blows landed on Goldstein's arms.
Goldstein's title was not at stake as Sheppard could not make the weight.
