Former World Taekwondo Champion and world ranked cruiserweight Marco Huck, 23, in his third comeback bout, won the European cruiserweight title. Huck, now 22-1 with 17 KOs, who was stopped in the twelfth round of a world title bout in 2008 against IBF champion Steve Cunningham, reached the twelfth round of a title bout yet again -- but the outcome was different. This time, Huck stopped his opponent, Jean-Marc Monrose, to win the European cruiserweight championship. Monrose, a French and European cruiserweight champion, had won 24 consecutive bouts going back five years, including kayoing European champ Johny Jensen, unbeaten in 25 bouts, in the first round earlier in 2008.
