Olson was able to catch Turner coming in, often during the bout. Olson scored a two-count knockdown in the 7th round, with a right hand to the jaw. Olson spun him around with the same punch in the 9th round. Turner was cut over his left eye in the 6th round, and bled profusely from the cut as the fight ended.
