"Olson was victorious by a unanimous decision, but the fight was closer and harder fought than the verdict would indicate. Round after round, Olson and Graham traded punches at close quarters and the local middleweight champion managed to gain the edge over the Negro fighter by virtue of his harder and more effective blows. Olson also outhit Graham in most of the sessions."
