Art Giroux beat Pecker Martin by TKO at 1:15 in round 10 of 12

The bout was fairly even entering the 9th round, but Martin appeared to be fading before Giroux's attack. Giroux hurt Martin with a right hand to the jaw, that sent him reeling to the ropes, Giroux's follow-up attack knocked Martin down for an eight-count. Martin rose unsteady, and was sent to the canvas for a second time as the bell range. Giroux hurt Martin again with a right hand and hit him at will until the ringside physician asked the referee to stop the bout.
