Mike Ward beat Kid Farmer by KO in round 7

A couple of months after this bout, Farmer was given a life sentence in prison for a November 1904 robbery. However, in January 1905, after a shootout that mortally wounded his brother Harry, Harry confessed to the crime. As a result of his brother's confession, Kid Farmer was released from prison.
