Dundee dominated Chaney with the exception of the final round, when Chaney dropped him in the last minute with a left hand to the chin. Chaney fouled Dundee in the 3rd round with a low left hand, prompting the physician to enter the ring and examine Dundee, and determine he had been fouled. Dundee elected to continue though after being fouled.
