Prevost knocked Duvernay down in the 2nd round, with a right to the chin. Prevost became fatigued by the 5th round, as Duvernay fought back. Duvernay began to hurt Prevost, and eventually hit him with a hard right hand in Prevost's corner that sent him to the canvas. Thought it appeared a wet corner had aided in the knockdown, Prevost's corner threw in the towel.
