From the Dayton Journal (Herb Goldman). This was a short but sensational fight. Sekyra was down twice in the first round, and appeared on the verge of being knocked out. The Kid charged out in round two to finish him and was met with a "terrific short right to the jaw" which knocked him out cold for several minutes.
