Rovira knocked Murray out with a right hand to the head. Murray appeared out on the canvas, when Rovira added a kick to the head. The crowd booed Rovira's action, and the commission upheld Rovira's purse, pending a hearing. Rovira and referee LaScola claimed that the kick missed; while Murray claimed that it landed, and left a lump under his left ear.
