Martin knocked down Berlier in the 3rd round for a nine-count. In the 10th round, Martin knocked Berlier down again with a right hand. Berlier got up without a count, but was driven back and slipped to the canvas. Berlier outboxed Martin in seven out of the ten rounds though, landing his right jab, and using his footwork to keep Martin off-balance.
