Harvey Jolly, a veteran cruiserweight with a losing record, began landing a number of big right hands early in the first round, and the unbeaten (12-0, 7 kayos) Iannuzzi was immediately in big trouble. Iannuzzi was knocked down twice by big right hands which Jolly landed with power. Iannuzzi managed to beat the count both times. Another big right hand sent Iannuzzi through the ropes, partially out of the ring, down and out for a stoppage via the three knockdown rule in Florida. Time: 2:11 of the first round.
