In a rematch televised on Telemundo that was an ugly scrap while it lasted, Super Middleweight Christopher De La Paz, a Cuban fighting out of Miami, Florida, went toe-to-toe in center ring with Dennis Valentin of Anasco, Puerto Rico, and decked him in the first with combinations to the head. Valentin beat the count, and gamely tried to fight back, but he was getting hit too much. De La Paz continued to land consistently and knocked out a battered Valentin for the ten count on his back in the second. De La Paz now 3-0, 2 kos, Valentin fell to 0-2.
