On the Hatton Productions undercard to Small-McDonough in Lancashire UK, Super Bantamweight Quigg, fifteen years younger than Voronin, was just too fast for the older fighter. Quigg, now 16-0 10 kos, won every round with fast jab combinations. He dropped Voronin with an overhand left in the the third, then dropped him with a left-right combination in the fourth. Both fighters warned after an accidental clash of heads in the fifth. Quigg had a defenseless Voronin trapped in a corner and was beating him senseless when referee stopped it in the sixth.
