Bout competitive for first four rounds, won by Majewski behind over hand lefts and counter rights with height and reach advantage. Myers did well, landing some counter power shots. An accidental butt by Myers in round 5 caused a bloody gash above his left eyebrow in round 5. The ringside doctor asked Myers if he wanted to continue and he did. After one more round, the ringside doctor stopped the bout in the Myers corner, as the Myers corner could not stop the flow of blood from the cut. After the bout, the Myers corner was weighing an appeal, that the TKO 6 loss should have gone to the scorecards due to the accidental butt. Myers stated he opted to fight on despite the cut without going to the scorecards as he knew Majewski was ahead on points.
