Deandre Latimore (21-3, 17 KOs) continued his junior middleweight world title hunt with a convincing 3rd round TKO of tough, journeyman Darien Ford (11-20, 4KOs). Latimore used his head movement and blazing hand speed to unsettle Ford, knocking him down three times in the 2nd round and a fourth and final time in the 3rd. Referee Steve Smoger had finally seen enough at this point and called a halt to the contest at 2:46 in the 3rd round.
