Castillo dropped Olivera with a light left hook in the 1st round, that did not appear to have hurt Olivera. Castillo did hurt Olivera in the 5th round, when he buckled his knees with another left hook. Castillo faded in the second half of the bout, as Olivera gave him a pounding to the body.
