Farah Ennis 173 lbs beat Reggie Pena 178 lbs by TKO at 1:56 in round 3 of 8

In an eight round Super Middleweight bout at The Taj Mahal Casino in Atlantic City, Farah 'Quiet Storm' Ennis of Philadelphia scored a third round knockout of Reggie "The Regulator" Pena, Tampa, Florida. Ennis, 16-0, 10 kayos, landed consistent heavy left hand leads which did damage, putting a huge welt under Pena's left eye early in round one. Undaunted, Pena tried to win this bout by manhandling Ennis around the ring, holding him and pulling him down, pushing Ennis into the ropes and mauling, and leaning with his head whenever Ennis got close. Ennis kept moving and stayed out of the range of danger, patiently working his left jab and landing consistently, with occasional well-placed body shots. Ennis hard work paid off when a right uppercut to the stomach knocked out an exhausted and battered Pena at 1:57 of the third. Pena, doubled over on the canvas clutching his stomach in pain. Ennis was victorious over Pena with his powerful right and superior speed. In the end, The superior fighter was victorious.
