On the undercard of a CES Boxing card at Fox Theater, Foxwoods Resort Casino, super lightweight Edwin Soto scored a unanimous six round decision over much taller Trenton Tisworth. BoxRec identifies Soto as 5'10' and Titsworth as 5'11". However, Soto, of New Haven, Connecticut by way of Puerto Rico, appeared to be around 5'7 or 5'8". Titsworth appeared at least 6'5" and might have been up to a foot taller. Tisworth forced Soto, 5-0-1, 2 kayos, to box his way cautiously to victory. Soto could not get inside, and had trouble reaching Titsworth, but kept coming forward and landed enough effective overhand rights to win this contest. Titsworth tried to counterpunch in center ring, or throw a left and a right and then tie Soto up. The first round was close. Titsworth added head movement in the rounds which followed to confuse Soto, but Soto was more aggressive and punched more accurately in rounds two, three and four to win. Some of Soto's punches missed by a foot.
