GLACE BAY, N.S. (AP) - Both Joe DeNucci of Newton, Mass,. And a crowd of 4,000 were unhappy about the decision which gave the fight to Canadian middleweight champion Blair Richardson Monday night. DeNucci was disqualified for low blows by referee Bobby Beaton who said he warned the U.S. fighter eight times before stopping the scheduled 10-round fight in the seventh. The decision was loudly booed by the crowd. Richardson was booed even louder when he left the ring. DeNucci, who weighed 163, two pounds more than the winner, said “This kid just quit on me. He couldn’t take a punch to the midsection.”
