In the main event of a six fight card called 'Capitale Punishment II' held at Capitale in New York City's Chinatown, sponsored by Empire Sports and Entertainment, and Joe DeGuardia's Star Boxing on October 22, 2010, lightweight Jorge Luis 'The Truth' Teron of Bronx, New York, scored a stoppage at 1:38 of the fourth round over James Hope of Rock Hill, South Carolina. The bout had a surprising start with Hope winning the first two rounds and then fading. Hope, now 6-6-1 with four kayos, overcame Teron's height and reach advantage by landing clean rights to Teron's head, then working the body on the inside. Hope showed a good defense, and held on whenever Teron tried to get inside. Teron was holding a low left, and Hope took advantage, throwing rights over the low left and also leaning his head in that direction with butting intent.Teron who was stopped in the third round in his previous bout, had trouble getting started, and appeared to suffer from some ring rust and inactivity. Hope threw lot of wild overhand rights, trying to get lucky and end it. Neither fighter showed any head movement. Hope was more active than Teron early on. Teron was not being hurt, but nonetheless could not keep Hope away from him.
The tempo of the bout changed in the third. Teron began landing accurate body shots. A butt from Hope called an accidental butt by referee David Fields, caused a bloody cut on the corner of Teron's right eye. Blood streamed down Teron's face from the corner of his right eye. Teron began landing more and more overhand rights which scored, winning the round. Teron began to move better, and drew distance with Hope, who was now missing the target with all of his punches. In the fourth round of the sche3duled eight rounder, Teron and Hope crashed heads in center ring, trying to take the fight to the inside. Teron was now landing many head shots, while Hope was landing some body shots. Teron was the better of the two, and continued scoring nonstop with power left and right hand head shots which did cumulative damage until Hope's guard dropped. Hope was out of gas and wilted defenseless on the ropes. Seeing this, Teron emptied the tank with nonstop flurries till referee David Fields stopped the bout at 1:38 of the fourth with Hope slumped over on the ropes.
