Tony Halme had no doubt he would win this fight.
When last time Halme tried to win the Finnish heavyweight title from Jukka Järvinen he was disqualified due to his in-ring tactics. But this time Halme had prepared better and gained even more muscle and confidence.
He was so confident that he took this fight with a purse of only 50 marks (which is about 10 dollars these days) and went to a betting shop and put all his money in the line that he would knock Järvinen out in the first two rounds. He was ready to take Järvinen's head off. Which he almost did with an uppercut that set Järvinen up for the knock out.
