Smallwood decisively defeated Dundee, winning all but one round, according to both the Lancaster New Era and Lancaster Daily Intelligencer-Jornal. Smallwood scored effectively with an overhand right in the bout, hurting Dundee with the punch in the 2nd round, and setting the way towards his one-sided triumph. Dundee's left eye was nearly closed in the bout from the overhand rights.
