- Date: 1934-02-26
- Location: Swiss Hall, Louisville, Kentucky, USA
- Referee: Soldier Buck
Kaufman pummeled Eiler to start the bout, and after a bout a minute, Eiler draped himself on the ropes, absorbing punishment. Twice, referee Soldier Buck pulled Kaufman off of Eiler. In the confusion officials and fans though the fight had been won by Kaufman on a 1st round TKO, but Buck claimed he had stopped it, to untangle Eiler from the ropes.
