Often incorrectly recorded as occurring Sept. 7, 1933. Sanchez was floored four times in the opening stanza. Armstrong's punches swelled up Sanchez's right eye and he had trouble seeing beginning in the 3rd round. The referee stopped the fight on account of Sanchez's eye and the punishment he was taking.
