Wade knocked Massey down in the 1st round for a six-count with a right hand to the chin. As with their previous meeting in San Francisco, Wade dished out a one-sided beating and had Massey nearly out on several occasions. After the referee stopped the bout, Massey mildly protested the stoppage.
