Armstrong appeared to be wearing down Chavez when the foul came, and had him trouble in the 8th round, from a left-right to the head. The foul, coming at the end of the round, was an unintentional low blow that dropped Chavez. Chavez rolled over and out of the ring, where he was helped back into the ring, and later carried to his dressing room.
