Henry Armstrong 130 lbs beat Moon Mullins 128 lbs by TKO at 1:20 in round 2 of 10
- Date: 1937-02-02
- Location: Olympic Auditorium, Los Angeles, California, USA
- Referee: Jack Kennedy
Armstrong sent Mullins to one knee with a left hook early in the 1st round. Another left and right, shortly after sent him down to one knee for the second times. Just before the 1st round ended, Armstrong floored Mullins for a third time with two long rights, as Mullins collapsed on his face.
Mullins attempted to fight in close in the 2nd round, but Armstrong jabbed him off, and broke loose and floored him for a fourth time with a right hand to the jaw. Mullins rose at three, but referee Kennedy told him to take the full nine count. Mullins either couldn't hear or ignored Kennedy, and as he stepped into face Armstrong again, the referee stopped the bout.
