Blitman won every round, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer, winning nine of those rounds by a wide margin. Canzoneri took a terrible beating, and was out on his feet in the 5th round, when the bell saved him. Canzoneri finished the fight cut over both eyes, and with badly swollen lips.
