Johnson knocked Jones down with a left to the body in the 1st round. Jones left eye began to swell badly in the 2nd round, which limited him to infighting as the fight went on. Johnson hurt Jones in the 4th round, and had Jones left eye nearly closed in the 5th round. In the 6th round, two lefts and a right hand put Jones down for a second time. Jones took the full count on his hands and knees while shaking his head.
