Denis Douglin, a former National Golden Gloves Middleweight champion, was knocked out for the second time in a year, this time by 18-0 Texas prospect Jermell ' Iron Man' Charlo, a former 2005 Junior Olympic Bronze medalist. Douglin was also knocked out in 2011 by Pennsylvania trialhorse Doel Carrasquillo, who went on to knock out Shamone Alvarez. Charlo landed overhand rights and right-left combinations all night.
