Mays easily outpointed Villa, as he was able to use his southpaw style and right jab to win. Mays won the early rounds, before Villa began to get going in the 4th round. Mays reasserted control in the 8th round, as he was able to open an old cut over Villa's left eye and took the last three rounds.
