Abie Israel 128 lbs beat Freddie Miller 127 lbs by UD in round 6 of 6

After a feeling out round to open the bout, Israel doubled up Miller with a right hand to the body. Israel controlled the bout thereafter, twice sending Miller to his knees with stiff left hands in the final round. Miller claimed to have injured his arm in the 2nd round, however, he did not complain about this injury until after the 3rd round. Dr J.S. Thomas of the Seattle Athletic Commission stated that the injury was a nerve bruise that deadened the arm.
