Charles nearly floored Bivins in the 1st round, while Bivins fought well in the 2nd and 3rd round. After a slow opening minute to begin the 4th round, Bivins went inside to fight Charles, where he would be hit by a devastating right hand to the jaw. Bivins went down to the canvas hard, with the back of his head hitting the canvas. He remained on the canvas for a minute, after being counted out.
