• The strange scorecards in this hard fought competitive bout results from Majewski's regular cut man not showing up for the bout. Between butts and punches, Mundy managed to turn Majewski's face into a bloody mess, affecting the fighter's vision. By round five, Majewski, usually fighting with reach advantage on the outside, and to go to-to-toe with Mundy on the inside at center ring and fight for his life. He stayed very active, so despite the blood, the bout was not stopped. Judging was affected by the blood, apparently. One judge ahd Majewski winning every round. Another judge had Majewski ahead by enough to win. A third judge scored the bout 95-95 a draw. By bout's end, the entire ring was a bloody mess. Majewski won most of the rounds and held when he could not see too well, which occurred frequently in the later rounds. Mundy, outworked, tried for the stoppage.
