- Page wobbled Yusubov with his first power left hook thrown in the opening 30 seconds of the bout and had him in immediate serious trouble, but was unable to finish him.
- Yusubov landed a series of left hooks to the head on a defenseless Page late in round two, driving him into the ropes, where the referee was forced to stop the bout.
- The California Athletic Commission stated after this bout the 39 year old Page would not be licensed again, nor approved to fight again in California, due to his poor performance.[[2]]
