Wilson was the aggressor in the bout, but struggled to reach Rightmire, who repeatedly danced out of danger. Rightmire won the first two rounds. Wilson was able to cut Rightmire's nose in the 3rd as his body attack troubled Rightmire. Wilson closed with a strong final round, hurting Rightmire with a right to the body.
