Freddie Miller 125 lbs beat Harry McCarthy 123 lbs by KO in round 7 of 10
- Date: 1929-03-07
- Location: Music Hall Arena, Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
- Referee: Lou Bauman
- Judge: Joe Blink
- Judge: Sam Becker
Miller knocked McCarthy through the ropes with a left to the head, and then hit him with a volley of blows, until he scored the knockout with a right hand to the jaw. Miller had won every round up to the stoppage, as he evaded McCarthy with ease, and landed at will. This was reported as Miller's first ten round with three-minute rounds, as Miller had previously fought with two minute rounds, due to his age.
