This bout was put on third, due to thunder and lightning, indicating potential rainfall. This turned out to be a wise decision, as it began to rain after the 10th round. Miller was again a clear winner over O'Dowd in the bout, as he took eight rounds, while O'Dowd took two. Miller gave a masterful boxing exhibition, as he showed tremendous footwork and defense. Miller repeatedly pelt O'Dowd with a good left, while keeping him off with his right hand.
