Locatelli used a left hand to pound out a clear decision over Cool. Cool entered the bout with a patch covering an old cut over his right eye, Locatelli reopened this cut in the 5th round, and Cool bled heavily the rest of the way. Locatelli appeared to coast in the 9th round, as Cool opened up to try and salvage the bout. In the 10th round, Cool waded in and was caught by a right to the body, that put him down for no-count.
