• In the main event of Star Boxing's 'Rockin Fights' card, veteran heavyweight Vincent 'Vinnie' Maddalone exposed the unbeaten record of Richard Carmack, pounding away with left hands to the body followed by rights to the head, until a broken Carmack finally wilted into the ropes and the bout was stopped by the referee late in the third round. Carmack had a huge and menacing appearance, but was a class below Maddalone, and thus had to cover up for the bout and never let his hands go.
