Craven who rushed after Bass in the bout, was knocked down by a left hook to the chin in the 2nd round. Craven rose before a count could be administered, and resumed his rushing tactics against Bass, until he was floored by a short right hand. Craven rose at eight, and was unsteady on his feet, which caused the referee to stop the bout.
