Thomas Dulorme versus Francisco Figueroa Welterweight bout

The 19-1 Dulorme used height and reach advantage to batter and bruise the face of the shorter Figueroa, who just could not get inside but hung tough until the referee finally stopped the lopsided contest with Figueroa taking a senseless beating. Figueroa was fairly given every chance to win in this bout, but was not fighting back anymore when referee Ricardo Vera finally stopped the bout. Fought on the untelevised undercard to Daniel Geale versus Darren Barker in Atlantic City. Dulorme's commanding jabs took Figueroa apart from the first round, and it was not pretty to watch.
