• Lou DiBella unbeaten prospect Peterkin outworked Hernandez for all six rounds by backing him up with single shots. Hernandez tried to counter, but due to almost two years inactivity his timing was off, and his shots were wide. Still both fighters were in top condition and Hernandez would not go. Hernandez was headbutting on the inside, forcing Peterkin to jam a glove in next to his head during clinches to prevent further butts from getting through. Fought at cruiserweight as both fighters were at 176 pounds. Hernandez was hired as a sparring partner by one of the observing parties at the card after this bout, having given a decent accounting of himself, showing good movement.
