In the opening bout of the Santander Arena fight card in Reading Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania's Randy Easton won a battle of winless heavyweights, showing up in superior condition and knocking out Maryland's William Monroe in the first round. Monroe did not appear to be in good condition, and Easton came forward with accurate power shots and pressure, landed power shots at will and ended the night quickly at 0:43 of the first round staggering Monroe around the ring.
