Eldridge started the bout, sticking out his left hand. Spoldi working out of a crouch, landed a hard right after breaking out of a clinch, that put Eldridge down for an eight-count. After Eldridge rose, he retreated to the ropes, covering up. Spoldi landed a right uppercut though that put Eldridge down for the count.
